Support Campus Kitchen!
It's time for Wake Forest Campus Kitchen’s largest annual event, TurkeyPalooza! We will be cooking over 500 Thanksgiving meals from scratch to help our community members feel love and support during the holiday season. This year Campus Kitchen hopes to raise $3,500 to support TurkeyPalooza. All funds will go towards ingredients for the meals we make and to our year-round effort to combat food insecurity in the Winston-Salem area.
About Campus Kitchen:
The Campus Kitchen at Wake Forest functions to re-purpose food in the Winston-Salem community that would otherwise have gone to waste. It functions as an asset-based approach to strengthening the Winston-Salem community by partnering with a network of civic, non-profit, and private organizations to develop innovative solutions to reduce food insecurity. Reasons To Give:
TurkeyPalooza would not be possible without donations, and we rely on the Wake Forest community and beyond to make it happen. Your gift will be used to purchase turkeys and sweet potatoes as well as ingredients (sourced locally where possible) for stuffing, cranberry sauce, green beans, and pumpkin cookies. Donations from this campaign will also be put towards supporting the year-round mission of Campus Kitchen.
