About Chi Rho
Thank you so much for considering a donation to Chi Rho, Wake Forest University’s all-male Christian a cappella group. This year is our 30th year as an organization (making us the longest-tenured a cappella group at the university) thanks to your generosity over the last three decades. This year, we embark on one of the most special projects Chi Rho has undertaken: Chi Rho: Greatest Hits So Far. Chi Rho: Greatest Hits So Far will feature 15 of Chi Rho’s most popular songs from the last 30 years. We are also thrilled to welcome back alumni to sing on the album! This is truly a massive undertaking and one that we have been planning since December of 2020. We plan to record this album in Graham, NC in December and release it at our annual Big Concert in April. It will be available on all digital streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music) as well as in CD form. Our members and leadership couldn’t be more excited about this endeavor, and we would like your help in making sure it reaches its full potential. Chi Rho weathered the COVID school year with fortitude and quiet enthusiasm; without live concerts, we concentrated on fellowship, discipleship, and preparation for the return to normal activities, and we are thrilled for this next step! We are hoping to raise $10,000 to help pay for this massive project and to ensure that Chi Rho will be able to continue its ministry for another 30 years.

Chi Rho has been a staple of the Wake Forest community since 1992, and we are so excited to bring you our 30th Anniversary Album! We’ve been delighted to see how the Lord has worked both within and through this group for the last thirty years, and we look forward to seeing what He has in store for us and future generations of Chi Rho. As we plan for the future, we are turning to Chi Rho alumni, families and friends to help us maintain our solid financial footing. Why are donations necessary?
Chi Rho has ministered to thousands of members of the Winston-Salem community, and to communities all over the world including Atlanta, Raleigh, Los Angeles, Nashville, France, and Zambia, just to name a few. We are hoping to create this album to honor all of the alumni who have come before us, and to honor all of the people who we have had the pleasure of singing for and working with over the last three decades. Your tax deductible gift will directly help with the production of the album and will ensure that Chi Rho maintains its tradition of faithful, responsible stewardship with a solid financial base after the album is complete.
